River Trent at East Stockwith.

Flood Tide (incoming, travelling upstream).

 -
The images in the grid below show the incoming flood tide sequence.
The incoming tide was not preceeded by the Aegir which is less frequent these days.  With or without,
the River Trent breathes twice each day. We are all so used to the tide coming in and out
when we go to the seaside and often we never give it a second thought.  The experience though when
this happens on a river seems so much different, more dramatic.  At the time, the Moon was high to the
left in the images but obscured by the CloudsTheir influence and effect was not obscured.
A cosmic event.
