OutForest: Building (4)
These images are a continuation of the OutForest project at another place situated within ancient Sherwood Forest.  Pressure on the forest boundary here is minimal as a development of new homes are being built upon the site of Bilsthorpe Colliery which closed in 1997.   The forest gave way to the mine, the nearby spoil heap has not been turned into a country park but is now the home of many solar panels providing electricity to the grid.
Other parts of the reclaimed site form an industrial estate, the new housing development seems to have been built almost in the middle.
