Sherwood Pines

SHERWOOD PINES - WORK IN PROGRESS.
Aligned to my Sciryuda work.  Clipstone and Rufford Forest, once part the original and extensive Sherwood Forest was turned over to commercial forestry and use as a military training ground during WW1.  Commercial Pine trees dominate, but interspersed is some wonderful deciduous woodland which almost seems to be fighting back.  Providing numerous leisure activities the area seems rather saturated and commodified with non-nature, but there are quiet and tranquil places. 
I will continue to add to and replace these images.
