The River Trent: The images below form a selection of those taken at Dunham on Trent.  This is where the two hundred year old toll bridge crosses the River Trent on the Nottinghamshire / Lincolnshire border.  These images were made, from the east / west road bridge during late 2023 when the river, flowing north / south, was in a serious state of flood and many banks had burst, the water flooding the plains according to plan.  Some properties still suffered significant damage.  The road bridge at one stage had to be closed.
