TRENT: Fledborough

The River Trent: The images below form a selection of those taken on and around the Fledborough viaduct, a disused railway crossing the River Trent at Fledborough and North Clifton. These images were made during late 2023 when the river was in a serious state of flood. Many banks had burst although the water seemed to flood the plains according to plan. This did not help the farmers but it never did, there is only so much. A significant number of overhead electric cable pylons were 'paddling' in the water.
