The images in the grid below are of the area around Gunness Wharf and Keadby.
The large cargo ships do dock here although generally go no further south due to
the low Bascule Bridge which no longer operates. Some large ships have managed to pass
underneath the bridge requiring the removal of some of the telecommunications equipment and
waiting for a low tide, this presents significant risks above and below. Sometimes, even those just
needing to turn at Gunness have been grounded at low tide.
